Director of the Academic Success Center (USF)
The Academic Success Center (ASC) is administered by Undergraduate Studies and is housed within the USF Tampa Library Learning Commons to promote the university-wide student success initiative. The primary mission of the ASC is to directly promote and support students' academic success by offering awide range of services. These services are offered by three distinct unitswithin ASC: Writing Studio, SMART Lab, and Tutoring Center. Additional ASC services include Academic Support courses, Study Skills Tutoring, and Tutor Training for all departments on campus, including INTO USF and Athletics.

The ASC Director is responsible for the overall management, development, and assessment of Center services and operations, working in collaboration with faculty, staff, and administrators in many academic departments supported by ASC services and with other partner organizations. This position manages budget resources, and oversees hiring of instructors for learning support
courses, assessment of their curricula, tutor training and its assessment, and overall learning support to students.
