The Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Diversity at UC Davis is a senior leadership position focused on building the inclusive excellence of our faculty and academic appointees and their pivotal role in nurturing a positive campus climate, the quality of the UC Davis student experience, and enhancing diversity within the pathways through higher education. The Associate Vice Chancellor will maintain a close working relationship with and serve as a resource to deans, vice chancellors, vice provosts and other senior administrators on matters of inclusion and diversity, and will work to engage the Academic Senate and Academic Federation in affecting positive campus change. The Associate Vice Chancellor reports directly to the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity, and acts for the Vice Chancellor in their absence.
