The School of Education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) announces an Assistant/Associate professor (tenure-line) position in Higher Education Administration beginning in Fall 2017. The faculty in the division of Educational Leadership, Policy and Foundations (ELPF) provide courses and degrees at the certificate, masters, specialist and doctoral levels. The individual selected for this position will join a collaborative and dedicated faculty who emphasize excellence in education at all levels in the context of the School of Education's commitment to urban schools and healthy urban communities. Position responsibilities include: a) teaching graduate courses in the field of Higher Education Administration, b) working collaboratively with ELPF faculty/staff and colleagues in the School of Education and local institutions of Higher Education, and c) advancing the goals of all students in the Higher Education Administration programs. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a tenure-track, benefits eligible, nine-month position.
